Whitfield Place is an end-of-terrace home in a conservation area, refurbished with a modern, highcontrast interior style tailored to the client’s preferences. Though unlisted, the property’s poor condition and sensitive context required a careful approach. We transformed the lower ground garage into a bright kitchen, dining, and living space, overcoming level changes and damp issues. The layout was extended with attic accommodation, preserving the roofline. A challenge was negotiating with Camden on acoustic impacts from air conditioning, balancing performance with discreet integration and minimal disruption.
